Why GP Solar Inspect measuring instruments?
Transparent work processes
The inline inspection systems of the GP Solar Inspect product line carry out an optical quality inspection while the wafer/solar cells production is running.
Precise defect detection
Depending on the application, quality deficiencies such as scratches, microcracks, stains, edge intrusions, color defects or print defects can be determined. Individual inspection samples can be produced for each inspection.
Rapid analysis of the measured results
The integrated software analyses the detected defects according to defined criteria and displays them in real-time on the control station screen. The measured results are automatically stored in a database and statistically analysed.
Optimum integration in the production environment
The GP Solar Inspect measuring instruments are integrated in the complete production process over standardized interfaces (e.g. MES, Profibus). This means actions dependent on the measurement result, such as stopping production because of too many bad parts, can be more conveniently configured.
